Reducing Spam Messages
The phenomenon of spam messages (SPAM) continues to impact essentially the electronic means of communication, as it is considered a nuisance threat to large users of telecommunications and Information Technology applications in general and internet users in particular.
These spam messages are used for fraud, phishing, spreading viruses, and cause damage, material loss and inconvenience to users of ICT services, internet service providers, mobile service providers and other concerned parties.
In order to contribute to economic and Social Development, Communications and information technology tools, applications and services must be effective and reliable. Accordingly, the TRA has issued controls to reduce SPAM.
